Medical Cannabis
A guide for new patients
At Curaleaf Clinic, medical cannabis can be prescribed by specialist doctors and delivered direct to you. Here’s how it works, from checking your eligibility for an online consultation to receiving a prescription.
How it works
Specialist doctors can prescribe medical cannabis to patients with a wide range of diagnosed conditions, including chronic pain, mental health and neurological disorders.
You may be eligible for a consultation if you have a diagnosed physical or mental health condition that has not been relieved by traditional therapies.
It’s simple to get started. Watch the video for our step-by-step guide.
1
Register online
To find out if you’re eligible for a consultation, answer a short set of questions about you and your condition.
Share your medical records for our doctors to review. We can get these on your behalf, if you wish.
2
Video consultation
We will look at your case and, if suitable, invite you to a video call with a condition specialist to talk about your needs.
Shortly after, your doctor will discuss your case with a team of other experts to make sure medical cannabis is right for you.
We’ll update you on the decision within 7 days.
3
Get your prescription
If approved, we can send your prescription to Curaleaf Pharmacy, or another pharmacy of your choice. Pay for your medicine online and it will be delivered to your home using a secure courier service.
Manage appointments and request your prescriptions with ease through your Curaleaf Clinic online account. You can also use your account to speak to our patient team and access useful treatment guides.

What is the Curaleaf Access Scheme?
The Curaleaf Access Scheme allows our patients to access more affordable care by contributing to the growing field of evidence on medical cannabis.
Simply complete regular questionnaires about your health and symptoms and report any changes.
This scheme allows you to access your health data and see how your symptoms are changing over time. It also helps us learn more about medical cannabis by including your data in the UK Medical Cannabis Registry, the largest patient registry of its kind in Europe. This data is used to help ensure we can bring the latest advances to patients and educate healthcare professionals and the public on medical cannabis.
