Sapphire Clinics will soon have a new look – Introducing Curaleaf Clinic

Published: 14/12/2023

Sapphire clinics is transitioning to a new identity – learn why, what’s changing, and how it affects you.

Saying Goodbye to the Old

Effective 8 January 2024, Sapphire Clinics is rebranding to Curaleaf Clinic.

In 2019, Sapphire Clinics became the first medical cannabis clinic with regulatory approval to open in the UK, and later joined the Curaleaf family of businesses in January 2022.

Since 2019, thousands of patients have entrusted us with their care, for which we are immensely grateful.

The rebranding primarily impacts external elements, including the clinic’s website and external communications. We hope as Curaleaf Clinic we can present a more unified, transparent narrative to patients, whilst we continue to provide the same quality of care you have come to expect from us.

Our clinic will continue to be regulated by the Care Quality Commission and we remain one of the highest-rated medical cannabis clinics in the UK.

What’s changing?

  • New website and logo – Our website will be updated to match our new branding with a consistent style and feel.
  • Contact details – Our emails will be updated to align with the Curaleaf domain.

What remains unchanged?

  • Quality of Care – Patients will still have access to the same medical cannabis products that meet required standards, and our dedication to providing exceptional care remains at the core of our mission.
  • Medical Team – Patients will continue to receive care from the same dedicated professionals
  • UK Medical Cannabis Registry – This will continue to capture essential patient data to evaluate medical cannabis prescribing and provide valuable insights for research purposes, to NHS England and other bodies.
  • The Sapphire Access Scheme – Will be renamed to ‘the Curaleaf Access Scheme’ of course, but there will be no change to the cost of consultations and patients can continue to contribute to the UK Medical Cannabis Registry.
  • UK Veteran’s Access Scheme – UK Veterans will continue to receive up to four free appointments per year with proof of service such as Veteran ID card or discharge letter. New patients please select ‘UK HM Veteran’ when completing the eligibility form.

The Future is Bright

We are excited to welcome in 2024 as Curaleaf Clinic and we deeply appreciate your continued trust. If you have any questions or concerns; please do not hesitate to get in contact with us.

Thank you from everyone at Curaleaf for being a valued patient.
