Sapphire Medical Clinics Launches First-in-Industry Web App to Improve Accessibility to Care

Sapphire is excited to announce the launch of the Sapphire Clinics Web App –the first of its kind for medical cannabis patients in the UK. It’s been months in the making, building a bespoke portal around patient feedback and the hope is that it will make organising all aspects of patient care easier than ever for the user.

Through the app you can book an appointment, quickly report an adverse event, access clinic letters, and view or download a replica of all current prescriptions. This is just the start, and we will continue testing and developing the list of available features over the coming months. Some of the exciting things we have in the pipeline include confirming when the pharmacy has your paper prescription, prescription despatch details, and an option to email a copy of your prescription to any healthcare professional, employer, or police officer.

Our Sapphire technology team had this to say about the development, “Our aim with the Web App is to personalise and simplify the experience for our patients, by eventually making all their medical cannabis admin and health tracking available in one place and accessible from anywhere, even on the go.”

Sapphire Clinics would like to send a big thank you to the patient engagement committee for beta testing the app and providing invaluable feedback ahead of this launch. Some of their feedback, thus far has been positive:

“Overall, I was very happy with the app, it made things like booking appointments and re-ordering prescriptions very easy. I am excited to see the app updated with live tracing for prescriptions as well, this will be a big help in the future.”

“It’s simple, easy to use, has everything I could need on there.”

All patients now have access to the Sapphire Clinics Web App. If you have any questions, please contact patient support at [email protected]
