Evonne Clarke has a long history with the NHS, having worked in hospital pharmacies since 1996. She has led medicines management services in surgical departments and anticoagulation services. Latterly her main role was supporting pain services as a specialist pharmacist and providing outpatient pain clinics.

Evonne Clarke is a qualified independent prescriber in pain management and was amongst the first pharmacists to join Sapphire Medical Clinics (now Curaleaf Clinic) in 2021. She is an instrumental leader in the prescribing team, having overseen the treatment of tens of thousands of medical cannabis patients. At Curaleaf Clinic she is responsible for ensuring the team are operating at the highest possible level and within the safety guidelines outlined by the Care Quality Commission. She played a pivotal role in the clinics most recent inspection in 2024.
