2-Arachidonoylglycerol, or 2-AG, is one of the body’s own cannabinoids, known as an endocannabinoid. It’s found in high levels in the brain and parts of the nervous system.
2-AG activates cannabinoid receptors called CB1 and CB2. These receptors are involved in modulating pain, mood, and anxiety.
